From the Botanical Gardens, head out of the main entrance located on Clarkehouse Road. Once outside, turn right and walk along Clarkehouse Road until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight onto Ecclesall Road (A625) and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass various shops and cafes. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Brocco Bank. Continue on Brocco Bank for about 0.2 miles until you reach Hangingwater Road. Turn left onto Hangingwater Road, and Shepherd Wheel will be on your right within a short distance.

Public Transport
From the Botanical Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop on Ecclesall Road, which is about a 10-minute walk. Catch the number 75 or 76 bus towards the city center and get off at the stop named 'Brocco Bank'. From there, walk down Brocco Bank for about 0.2 miles and take a left onto Hangingwater Road. Shepherd Wheel will be on your right. Please note that a single bus fare is approximately £2.50.

Cycling
If you have a bicycle, exit the Botanical Gardens and head towards Clarkehouse Road. Follow the same route as walking by cycling down Ecclesall Road (A625) for about 0.5 miles. Turn onto Brocco Bank and then left onto Hangingwater Road. Shepherd Wheel will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all road safety rules while cycling. There are no additional costs for this option aside from potential bike rental fees if applicable.
