Car
From Skegness, head northeast on the A52 towards Boston. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A16 towards Spilsby. Continue on the A16 until you reach the junction with the A47. Merge onto the A47 and follow the signs for Norwich. After approximately 25 miles, take the exit for Cromer. Follow the A140 and then the A149 towards Cromer. Once in Cromer, follow local signs for West Runton. The Norfolk Coast Path starts in West Runton, Cromer NR27 9QA. Please note that parking in Cromer may incur costs, typically around £2-£4 for a few hours.

Public Transportation
From Skegness, take the train from Skegness Railway Station to Cromer. You will need to change trains at either Peterborough or Norwich, depending on the schedule. The entire journey can take approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Cromer Station, you can take a local bus (such as the 5 or 6) or walk to West Runton. The walk from Cromer to West Runton is around 2 miles, following the coastal path signs. Please check the local train and bus timetables for exact departure times and costs, which typically range from £10-£20 for a return trip.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Skegness to West Runton. This will be a more expensive option, with fares typically ranging from £50-£70 depending on the taxi service. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Make sure to book your taxi in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons.
