Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Neath. Head southeast on Victoria Gardens toward the A465. Take the A465 exit toward Merthyr Tydfil. Merge onto the A465 and stay on it until you reach the junction for Neath. Take the exit for Neath and follow the signs for Neath Abbey. Continue straight onto Monastery Road, and you will find Neath Abbey on your left. Parking is available nearby, and entry to the site is free.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a train to Neath Railway Station. From the station, exit onto Station Road and take bus number 20 or 21 towards Neath Abbey. The bus will drop you off at a stop near Monastery Road. Walk along Monastery Road for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Neath Abbey. Ensure to check the bus schedule, as services may vary, but typically buses run every 30-60 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Neath Abbey and prefer to walk, you can start from Neath town center. Head south on Angel Street, then continue onto Neath Abbey Road. Follow this road until you reach Monastery Road. Turn left on Monastery Road, and Neath Abbey will be shortly on your right. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
