If you are driving from Whitby, start by heading south on New Quay Road (A171). After about 1 mile, turn left onto Low Lane. Continue on Low Lane for approximately 0.5 miles. You will find Mulgrave Castle on your left. There is limited parking available near the castle, so plan accordingly.

Public Transportation
From Whitby bus station, take the number 99 bus towards Sleights. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for Low Lane. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes down Low Lane, and you will arrive at Mulgrave Castle. Please check the local bus schedule for the latest timings.

Walking
If you're already in the Whitby town center, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Mulgrave Castle. Head south on Church Street, cross over the River Esk, and continue onto New Quay Road (A171). After about 1 mile, turn left onto Low Lane and follow it for another 0.5 miles until you reach the castle. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.
