Getting There

  • Walking

    From Windsor Castle, head east on Castle Hill towards Sheet Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the A308 (Albert Road). After about a 10-minute walk, you will come to the Windsor Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight until you reach Windsor & Eton Central Station. From there, take a South Western Railway train towards London Waterloo. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Waterloo Station, exit the station and walk towards Westminster Bridge. Continue walking straight until you see the London Eye on your left. The ticket office is located at Riverside Building, County Hall.

    If you are at the Windsor Leisure Centre, exit and head towards the Windsor Royal Shopping Centre. Walk through the shopping centre towards the main exit facing the railway station. Once outside, head to the left and walk towards the A308 road. Cross the road and follow the signs to the train station. Purchase a ticket for a train to London Waterloo. After about 30 minutes, alight at Waterloo Station. From there, follow the signs to the London Eye, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head towards Westminster Bridge and keep walking straight until you see the London Eye.

    From Windsor, head to the bus stop at Windsor Theatre Royal. Take the Green Line bus route 702 towards London. The bus ride will take about 1 hour and drop you off near Westminster Bridge. After disembarking, walk towards the London Eye, which is just a short walk away. Follow the riverbank and you will see the London Eye prominently located along the Thames. The ticket office is at Riverside Building, County Hall.
