Private "All Creatures Great & Small" Dales Tour from Thirsk
Perfect trip for an All Creatures fan
Our guide, Martin, was outstanding. We were looking for a history of the Yorkshire area, coupled with our love of the writings of James Herriot . Our tour took us through several of the sites where the current PBS show is filmed, and we were able to eat lunch in the charming town of Grassington, which serves as the fictional Darrowby. Lots of anecdotes, beautiful vistas, opportunities to wander the areas we were hoping to. Martin even was able to provide us with suggestions for our drive northward the next day.

It was a nice trip. i wish there were few more photo stops in the valley with the lush greenery and sheep in the background. There were many nice views where I wished the bus would have stopped for photostop
