Car
From Aiguá, head east on Route 9 (Ruta 9) towards the town of La Paloma. After approximately 70 km, you will reach La Paloma. Once you enter La Paloma, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Del Mar. Turn left onto Avenida Del Mar and follow the road until you see signs for Playa El Cabito. The beach is located approximately 3 km down this road. There is no parking fee at the beach.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a local bus from Aiguá to La Paloma. The bus ride typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the La Paloma bus terminal, you can take a taxi or a local bus towards Playa El Cabito. If you opt for a taxi, it will take around 10 minutes and cost approximately 200-300 Uruguayan Pesos. If you take the local bus, it may take longer, and you should check the local schedule to ensure you get on the correct route towards the beach.
