Walking
If you are starting from the historic center of Colonia del Sacramento, head southwest towards the waterfront along Calle Del Comercio. After about 300 meters, you will reach the picturesque Plaza Mayor. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade, which is known as Paseo Gabriel y De San. As you stroll by the river, enjoy the scenic views and the fresh breeze. After approximately 10 minutes, you will see the entrance to Bastión de San Pedro on your right, just past the old lighthouse.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the main square, Plaza Mayor. Cycle southwest along Calle Del Comercio and then continue toward the waterfront. Follow the path along Paseo Gabriel y De San, enjoying the view of the river. After about 10 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at Bastión de San Pedro on your right side, just before reaching the old lighthouse.
