Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the historic district of Colonia del Sacramento, make your way to Calle del Comercio. Head down Calle del Comercio toward the waterfront, where you will find a scenic view of the river. Continue walking until you reach the Plaza Mayor, a central square with historic buildings surrounding it. From Plaza Mayor, walk towards Calle de Los Suspiros, a charming cobblestone street lined with colorful houses. Exit Calle de Los Suspiros onto Calle de San José and turn right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle del Sol. Turn left onto Calle del Sol, and you will soon arrive at Bastion Square of the Flag, located on your right near the waterfront.

If you are at the Colonia del Sacramento bus terminal, exit the terminal and turn left onto Avenida General Flores. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle del Comercio. Turn right onto Calle del Comercio and continue towards the historic district. Follow the same directions as mentioned above to reach Bastion Square of the Flag.
