Car
If you are driving, take Route 21 towards Colonia del Sacramento. Once you arrive in the city, follow the signs for 'Centro' or 'Casco Histórico.' As you approach the area, look for parking options, as street parking can be limited. The nearest parking area to Casco Histórico is at Calle de los Suspiros, which is just a short walk from the historical site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, catch a bus that goes to Colonia del Sacramento from nearby cities. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Colonia, exit the terminal and head towards Avenida Artigas. You can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a taxi to get to Casco Histórico. For walking, follow Avenida Artigas south until you reach Calle de los Suspiros. Turn left on Calle de los Suspiros, and you will find the historical site at number 90.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Colonia. If you prefer a more direct route, simply hail a taxi and provide the driver with the address: Calle de los Suspiros 90, Colonia del Sacramento. The fare is usually reasonable, but it's good to confirm the price before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are staying in a hotel or accommodation near the city center, walking is a great option. From the main plaza (Plaza Mayor), head south on Calle del Comercio, then turn left onto Calle de los Suspiros. Continue straight until you reach the historical site at Calle de los Suspiros 90. This route takes about 10-15 minutes and allows you to enjoy the charming streets of Colonia.
