    Car

    From Colonia del Sacramento, head northeast on Route 1 (Ruta 1) towards Montevideo. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 92 km until you reach the town of Minas. Once in Minas, look for signs directing you to Route 12 (Ruta 12) and take that road heading east. Continue on Route 12 for about 25 km until you reach the junction with Route 8 (Ruta 8). Take Route 8 north for approximately 5 km until you see signs for Cerro Arequita. Follow these signs, and you will arrive at the entrance to Cerro Arequita. Please note that parking is available at the site, and there is no entrance fee.

    To reach Cerro Arequita via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Colonia del Sacramento to Minas. Buses run regularly from the Colonia bus terminal (Terminal de Ómnibus de Colonia) to the Minas terminal (Terminal de Ómnibus de Minas).
