From Cuchilla Grande, head northeast on Route 9 (Ruta 9) towards the town of San Carlos. After approximately 20 kilometers (around 25 minutes), merge onto Route 39 (Ruta 39) towards the city of La Barra. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 10 (Ruta 10) and turn left. Follow Route 10 for about 30 kilometers until you reach Montevideo. Once in Montevideo, navigate to the city center and follow signs for Plaza Independencia. Palacio Salvo is located at Pl. Independencia 848, right on the plaza.
