From Cuchilla Grande, head southwest on Route 9 (Ruta 9) towards the town of Piriápolis. Continue on Route 9 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 10 (Ruta 10). Turn left onto Route 10 and follow the signs for Punta Ballena. Continue on Route 10 for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Punta Ballena, and as you approach, you will also get views of the coast. Look for parking areas near the beach or scenic viewpoints.

From Cuchilla Grande, you can take a bus to Piriápolis. Check the local bus schedule for departures, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Piriápolis, you will need to transfer to another bus that goes to Punta Ballena.
