Car
Start your journey in Durazno by driving towards Route 5 (Ruta 5). Follow Route 5 heading south for approximately 120 km until you reach the junction with Route 1 (Ruta 1). Take the exit towards Route 1 and continue for about 80 km. When you see the signs for Colonia del Sacramento, follow them. Upon entering the city, navigate towards the historic district where San Miguel Bastion is located. Look for G4GX+JMP on your GPS to arrive directly at the site.
Bus
From Durazno, head to the central bus terminal and purchase a ticket for a bus headed to Colonia del Sacramento. The bus ride typically takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on the service. Once you arrive at the Colonia bus terminal, you can either walk or take a taxi to the historic district where San Miguel Bastion is located. Walking will take about 20 minutes; just follow the signs towards the city center.
Taxi/Ride-share
If you're in Colonia del Sacramento and prefer a more direct route to San Miguel Bastion, you can use a local taxi or a ride-sharing app. Simply input the address (G4GX+JMP, De San Pedro) into your app or tell the taxi driver to take you to San Miguel Bastion.
