If you're traveling by car, start from Punta del Este, which is approximately 300 km away from the Artigas Plateau. Take Route 9 heading northwest for about 200 km until you reach the junction with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3 and continue for about 50 km. After that, take the exit toward Route 26. Follow Route 26 for around 30 km until you see signs for Chapicuy. The Artigas Plateau is located just outside Chapicuy, and you can find it easily by navigating to the coordinates (Latitude: -31.61308, Longitude: -57.98370). Parking is available near the site, usually for free.

To reach the Artigas Plateau using public transportation, take a bus from Montevideo to Paysandú, which operates frequently throughout the day. The bus ride will take approximately 7 hours and costs around 500 UYU. Once you arrive in Paysandú, transfer to a local bus heading to Chapicuy.
