If you are driving from Punta del Este, take Route 10 north toward Ruta 9. Merge onto Ruta 9 and continue until you reach the junction with Route 2. Take Route 2 west. Follow Route 2 until you see signs for Trinidad. Continue on the old route (trazado antiguo) until you reach km 235, where Palace Cave is located. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours.
