If you are driving from East Coast, take Route 9 heading southwest towards Montevideo. Continue on Route 9 until you reach the intersection with Avenida Italia, where you will take a left. Follow Avenida Italia until you reach the intersection with Avenida de las Leyes. Turn left onto Avenida de las Leyes and continue for about 1 km. The Palacio Legislativo will be on your right at 4R57+G35, Av. de las Leyes, 11800 Montevideo. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may charge a fee.

To reach the Palacio Legislativo from East Coast using public transportation, you will need to take a bus to Montevideo. Look for buses that travel to Montevideo from your nearest bus terminal; companies like COT and COPSA operate these routes. The journey may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Tres Cruces Terminal in Montevideo, transfer to a local bus heading towards the city center. Buses 93 and 184 stop near the Palacio Legislativo. Get off at the stop on Avenida de las Leyes, and walk a short distance to the Palacio (4R57+G35, Av. de las Leyes, 11800 Montevideo). The total cost for the bus to Montevideo is approximately 200-300 UYU depending on the company.
