From the central area of Fray Bentos, head south on Avenida 33 Orientales towards Calle 19 de Abril. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle 25 de Mayo. Turn left onto Calle 25 de Mayo and walk for another 300 meters. Plaza Rivera will be on your right, directly across from the Municipal Building.

If you are near the main bus terminal in Fray Bentos, take any bus heading towards the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Plaza Rivera stop or the nearest stop to Plaza Rivera. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down Avenida 33 Orientales and turn left onto Calle 25 de Mayo. The plaza will be on your right after about 300 meters.
