Car
Start from the center of José Ignacio. Head northeast on Route 10 (Ruta 10) towards Punta del Este. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 7 kilometers (about 10 minutes). You will pass by the beautiful beaches along the way. Keep an eye out for signs to 'Santa Mónica'. When you reach the intersection with Enriqueta street, turn left onto Enriqueta. Continue for about 500 meters. The Mirador laguna de José Ignacio will be on your right, situated along the edge of the lagoon.

Public Transportation
From José Ignacio, you can take a local bus that goes towards Punta del Este. Confirm the bus schedule as it may vary. Get off at the Santa Mónica stop, which is close to Enriqueta street. From there, walk towards Enriqueta street and turn left. Continue for about 500 meters on foot, and you will find the Mirador laguna de José Ignacio on your right. Be sure to check the bus return schedule to avoid being stranded.
