If you are driving from the center of Minas, head southwest on Route 8 (Ruta 8) towards the intersection with Route 12 (Ruta 12). After approximately 10 kilometers, you will need to turn left onto Route 12. Continue on Route 12 for about 12 kilometers, and then turn right onto a gravel road marked with signs towards Río Santa Lucía. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers, and you will arrive at the picturesque banks of Río Santa Lucía. Parking is usually available near the riverbank.
