Car
From the center of Lavalleja, head east on Ruta 8 (also known as Camino a Minas). Continue on Ruta 8 for about 30 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Cerro San Antonio,' which is located in the Maldonado Department. After exiting Ruta 8, follow local signs to the mountain. The last stretch involves a winding road leading directly to the parking area at the foot of Cerro San Antonio. Parking is generally free.

From Lavalleja, take a bus to the nearby town of Maldonado. Buses run regularly from the main terminal in Lavalleja to Maldonado, and the fare is usually around 100-150 Uruguayan Pesos.
