From the center of Maldonado, head towards Avenida Roosevelt. Walk north along this avenue for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle 18 de Julio. Turn left onto Calle 18 de Julio and continue straight until you reach the coastline. Playa el Emir will be straight ahead, approximately 5 minutes from the coastline.
