Getting There

  • Bus

    From Punta del Este city center, walk to the main bus terminal located at Avenida Gorlero, near the Plaza de los Artesanos. Look for the bus that goes towards Maldonado or La Barra, as these often stop near Museo Paseo Neruda. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Altos del Puerto, Virazon y.

    If you are staying closer to the beach area, walk along Avenida Gorlero heading east towards the marina. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle 27, then turn right (south) and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle 30. Turn left (east) and follow the road until you reach Altos del Puerto, where Museo Paseo Neruda is located. This walk will take about 30-40 minutes.
