Bus
From the center of Maldonado, head to the bus terminal located at Avenida Roosevelt. You can take any bus heading towards Punta del Este. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are going to 'Puente de la Barra'. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to 'Av. Aparicio Saravia'. From there, walk east for about 5 minutes until you reach the bridge, which is a popular tourist attraction.
Walking
If you are located near the Plaza San Fernando in Maldonado, you can walk to 'Puente de la Barra'. Head south on Calle 25 de Mayo, continue straight until you reach Avenida Roosevelt. Cross the avenue and continue along Avenida Aparicio Saravia. The bridge will be on your left after about a 30-minute walk.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can also opt for a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Puente de la Barra', located at Av. Aparicio Saravia in Punta del Este. The drive should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
