Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Maldonado, head towards Avenida Gorlero. Walk north along Avenida Gorlero until you reach the intersection with Calle 18 de Julio. Turn left onto Calle 18 de Julio and continue walking. After a few blocks, you will see a large park area on your right. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Calle 21. Turn right on Calle 21, and you will find Great Britain Square nearby, marked by a prominent green area and benches.

Bicycle
For those on a bicycle, start from the central Maldonado area and head towards Avenida Gorlero. Cycle north along Avenida Gorlero until you reach Calle 18 de Julio. Turn left onto Calle 18 de Julio and continue until you reach the park area on your right. Once you see the park, turn right onto Calle 21, and you will quickly reach Great Britain Square, which is a relaxing spot with greenery and seating.

From any point in Maldonado, find the nearest bus stop that services routes towards Punta del Este. Board the bus that heads to Punta del Este and inform the driver that you want to get off at the closest stop to Great Britain Square. After disembarking, walk a short distance towards Avenida Gorlero, then follow the directions for walking to Great Britain Square as outlined above.
