Bus
From the center of Maldonado, head to the main bus terminal located at Avenida Aiguá. Look for a bus heading towards La Barra. Buses typically run every 30 minutes. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop near Romildo Risso street. Once you disembark, walk along Romildo Risso for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Museo del Mar on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Maldonado. Start your journey from Plaza de Maldonado and take Avenida Aiguá towards La Barra. Follow the bike lanes and signs for around 6 km until you reach Romildo Risso. Turn left onto Romildo Risso and continue for about 1 km to reach Museo del Mar.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can walk to Museo del Mar. Start at Plaza de Maldonado and head north on Calle Sarandí. Continue straight until you reach Avenida Aiguá. Cross the avenue and follow it towards La Barra. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto Romildo Risso Street. Walk for another 1 km until you see Museo del Mar on your left.
