Follow Route 3 for approximately 170 kilometers until you reach the town of Paysandú. From Paysandú, take Route 90 (Ruta 90) heading west towards Chapicuy. After about 30 kilometers, you will arrive at Chapicuy. The Artigas Plateau is located at the coordinates -31.6130798, -57.9837029, which you can enter into your GPS for precise navigation. Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Montevideo to Paysandú. Buses to Paysandú depart from the Tres Cruces Terminal. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours, and tickets cost around 500-800 UYU (Uruguayan Pesos). Once in Paysandú, you can take a local bus or taxi to Chapicuy.
