Walking
From the center of Punta del Este, head southeast on Avenida Gorlero towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the coastline, which will take you about 10 minutes on foot. Once you reach Playa Brava, walk along the beach boardwalk to the east. After approximately 15-20 minutes, you will see El Faro (the Lighthouse) prominently situated on the rocky point. The lighthouse is a great spot for photos and offers beautiful views of the ocean.

If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch a local bus from the Punta del Este Bus Terminal. Look for the bus that heads towards La Barra. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the stop closest to Playa Brava. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk along the beach to El Faro. Many tourists rent bicycles in Punta del Este. If you have a bike, head towards the coastline along Avenida Gorlero and follow the route to Playa Brava. The bike ride will take around 15 minutes.
