From Punta del Este, head to the Terminal de Ómnibus (Bus Terminal) located at Avenida 18 de Julio. Look for a bus heading towards La Barra. Once you board, inform the driver that you are going to Museo del Mar. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Romildo Risso street. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards Romildo Risso street, following the signs for Museo del Mar.

If you are near the beach area, you can walk to Museo del Mar. Head northwest on Av. Gorlero towards Av. Artigas. Continue to walk straight until you reach the intersection with La Barra street. Turn left and continue straight until you reach Romildo Risso street. The museum will be on your left. This walk will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
