From the center of Rocha, head west on Calle 18 de Julio towards Avenida Italia. Continue on Avenida Italia until you reach Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9, heading south. Drive for approximately 30 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Marco de los Reyes. Turn right onto the dirt road that leads to the historical site. After about 5 kilometers on this road, you will arrive at Marco de los Reyes de 1750. There is no entrance fee for this historical site.
Public Transportation
From Rocha's main bus terminal, take a bus that heads towards La Paloma or Aguas Dulces. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver that they will stop near Route 9, as some buses may have different routes. After approximately 30 minutes, request to be dropped off at the intersection of Route 9. From there, you will need to walk about 5 kilometers down the dirt road that leads to Marco de los Reyes de 1750. Be prepared for a rural walk, and check the bus schedules for your return trip to Rocha.
