Car
If you're in Sierra de las Ánimas and driving, start by heading southeast on Route 8 (Ruta 8) towards Punta del Este. Continue on Route 8 for about 40 kilometers. As you approach Punta del Este, follow the signs for Av. Gorlero and Av. Francisco Salazar. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Av. Francisco Salazar, and then turn right onto Calle 29. El Faro will be located at the end of this street, near the beach. There is parking available nearby.
Bus
From Sierra de las Ánimas, take a bus from the local terminal heading towards Punta del Este. The bus ride typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Punta del Este bus terminal, exit the terminal and head southeast on Av. Gorlero. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. Francisco Salazar. Turn right on Av. Francisco Salazar, then take another right onto Calle 29, where El Faro is located, near the beach.
