From Sierra de Minas, head southeast on Route 8 (Ruta 8) towards the coast. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 10 (Ruta 10). Turn left onto Route 10 and follow the signs for Punta Ballena. After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Punta Ballena. Look for Juan Díaz de Solís street to reach the specific address (Juan Díaz de Solís 4). There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transportation
From Sierra de Minas, take a bus to Maldonado. Buses are operated by various companies and leave regularly from the central bus terminal. The journey to Maldonado takes about 30-40 minutes, and tickets typically cost around $100 UYU. Once you arrive at the Maldonado bus terminal, transfer to a local bus heading towards Punta Ballena. Check the local bus schedules for the exact routes and times. The local bus fare is approximately $40 UYU. After about 15-20 minutes on the local bus, get off at the nearest stop to Juan Díaz de Solís street, and walk to the address (Juan Díaz de Solís 4).
