If you are driving, head towards Punta del Este by taking Route 10 (Ruta 10) from any location in the South Coast. Follow the signs for Punta del Este. Once you arrive in the city, continue along Av. Gorlero, which will take you directly towards the waterfront area. Follow the road until you reach Puerto de Punta del Este, located at coordinates -34.9639257, -54.9510559. Parking may be available nearby, but be aware that some areas may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for services heading to Punta del Este. Buses from cities like Maldonado or Montevideo frequently run to Punta del Este, with the journey taking around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at the Punta del Este bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards Av. Gorlero. Continue along this road towards the coast until you reach Puerto de Punta del Este. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes.
