Once you reach the city, navigate to the waterfront area where Montevideo Bay is located. You can park your car in one of the public parking lots or along the streets near the bay. Parking may incur a fee, typically around 50-100 Uruguayan pesos per hour.

  For public transportation, you can take a bus from various towns along the South Coast to Montevideo. Check the local bus schedules for companies like COT or COPSA that operate routes to Montevideo. The bus journey from Punta del Este to Montevideo takes roughly 2 hours and costs about 300-400 Uruguayan pesos. Once you arrive at the Tres Cruces Bus Terminal in Montevideo, you can catch a taxi or use a rideshare app to get to Montevideo Bay. Alternatively, you can take the local bus service that connects the terminal to the waterfront area, which is very affordable, costing around 30 Uruguayan pesos.
