If you are driving from any location in the South Coast, head towards Montevideo. Use Route 1 (Ruta 1) and follow the signs for Montevideo. Once you reach the city, follow Av. 18 de Julio towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Plaza Independencia, where you will find the Artigas Mausoleum at Pl. Independencia 848. There is limited street parking available around the plaza, so be prepared to park a short distance away if necessary.
