From the central plaza of Tacuarembó, head southwest on Avenida Artigas towards Calle 25 de Agosto. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle Manuel Oribe. Turn left onto Manuel Oribe, and walk for another 200 meters. The Indian Museum will be on your right at the address 72PC+PHP, Gral. Jose Gervasio Artigas.

You can take Bus Line 1 from the main bus station in Tacuarembó. Board the bus in the direction of Gral. Jose Gervasio Artigas. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop closest to the intersection of Gral. Jose Gervasio Artigas and Calle Manuel Oribe. After getting off, walk about 100 meters back towards the intersection, and you will find the Indian Museum on your left.
