From Brian Head Ski Resort, head southeast on Brian Head Blvd. Continue for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 143. Turn left onto Highway 143 and drive for approximately 8 miles. Watch for signs for Cedar Canyon and the Ashdown Gorge Wilderness Area. Once you reach the Cedar Canyon area, follow the signs indicating the wilderness area. Park in the designated parking area at Cedar Canyon, which is free of charge. From the parking area, you can access various trails leading into the wilderness.
