Walking
Start at the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center, located at 1 Visitor Center Road. Exit the Visitor Center and head east on Visitor Center Road. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Utah State Route 63. Continue walking for approximately 1 mile until you reach the junction with Utah State Route 12. From here, you will need to take a right turn and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. As you approach Swamp Canyon, keep an eye out for the trailhead signs on your left, which will guide you to the canyon itself.
Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Bryce Canyon Lodge located at 20 Main Street. From the lodge, head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Utah State Route 63. Turn right onto Route 63 and bike for about 1 mile. When you reach the junction with Utah State Route 12, continue straight for another 0.5 miles. Look for the signs leading to Swamp Canyon on your left, and follow the path to the canyon.
Hiking
If you prefer hiking, begin at the Fairyland Point Trailhead, located at the end of Fairyland Point Road. From here, follow the Fairyland Loop Trail, which is well-marked. After hiking about 1.5 miles on this trail, you will come across a sign for Swamp Canyon. Follow the signs and trail markers to reach your destination. This hike offers stunning views, so enjoy the scenery along the way!
