  If you are driving to Whiteman Connecting Trail Trailhead, start on Utah State Route 63 (SR-63) which leads into Bryce Canyon National Park. Follow SR-63 until you reach the junction with the access road to the various viewpoints and trailheads. The Whiteman Connecting Trail Trailhead is located near the Under-the-Rim Trail. Upon entering the park, look for signs directing you towards the Under-the-Rim Trail. The trailhead is approximately 8 miles from the park entrance. There is no additional parking fee if you have already paid the entrance fee for the park.

  For those using public transportation, you can take a shuttle bus from Bryce Canyon City, which is the nearest town with lodging options. The shuttle service operates seasonally and connects visitors to various points within Bryce Canyon National Park, including the Under-the-Rim Trail. Check the local schedule for shuttle times as they may vary. Once you arrive at the designated stop for Under-the-Rim Trail, follow the signs to the Whiteman Connecting Trail Trailhead, which is a short walk away.

  If you're staying at one of the lodges in Bryce Canyon National Park, you can walk to the Whiteman Connecting Trail Trailhead. From the main lodge area, follow the park's walking paths leading towards the Under-the-Rim Trail. The walk is approximately 2 miles and offers scenic views of the surrounding area. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially during warmer months.
