Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center. Head east on UT-12 E for about 1 mile. Turn left onto the Scenic Drive. Continue on Scenic Drive for approximately 3 miles. Look for the parking area marked for Inspiration Point. Park your car here, and from the parking area, follow the short, well-marked trail to Lower Inspiration Point, which will take about 10 minutes on foot.

  • Shuttle

    During the peak season, Bryce Canyon offers a free shuttle service. If you are using the shuttle, board the shuttle at any designated stop in the park. Use the shuttle route to reach the Inspiration Point stop. From the Inspiration Point stop, it is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to Lower Inspiration Point. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule for operating hours.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike at the Bryce Canyon City or bring your own. From the Visitor Center, ride east on UT-12 E for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Scenic Drive. Continue for approximately 3 miles until you reach the parking area for Inspiration Point. Lock your bike and take the short hike (about 10 minutes) to Lower Inspiration Point.

  • Hiking

    For the more adventurous, you can hike to Lower Inspiration Point. Start from the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center and take the Rim Trail heading east. Follow the trail for about 2 miles until you reach Inspiration Point. From there, take the steep but short trail down to Lower Inspiration Point. Total hiking time from the Visitor Center to Lower Inspiration Point is approximately 1.5 hours.
