Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the Island in the Sky Visitor Center located at 1000 Sky District Drive, Moab, UT 84532. From the Visitor Center, head south on the Grand View Point Road for approximately 12 miles. At the end of the road, you will reach the Grand View Point Overlook. From here, continue on the same road until you reach the turnoff for the Candlestick Tower Overlook, which is located on the left side of the road. Follow the signs to the parking area. There is no entrance fee for the overlook itself, but ensure you have a valid entry pass for Canyonlands National Park, which costs $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
