Car
If you are traveling by car, start at the Island in the Sky Visitor Center within Canyonlands National Park. From the Visitor Center, head southeast on the Grand View Point Road for approximately 12 miles. Continue on this road until you reach the end, where you'll find the parking area for the Elephant Hill trailhead. The road is well-marked, and you will see signs for the trailhead as you approach. There is no entrance fee for accessing the Elephant Hill area.
Public Transportation + Hiking
Public transportation options to Canyonlands National Park are limited. You can take a shuttle service from nearby towns like Moab to the park. Once in the park, you would need to utilize a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Elephant Hill trailhead. Upon arriving at the trailhead, you'll need to hike approximately 1.5 miles into the designated hiking areas such as Druid Arch and Chesler Park. Ensure to check shuttle schedules in advance, as they may vary seasonally.
