From Moab, UT, take US-191 South for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with UT-46. Turn left onto UT-46 and continue for about 25 miles. You will pass through the town of Monticello. Once you reach Monticello, turn onto US-491 South and follow it for about 13 miles. Turn left onto the road that leads to Dark Canyon Wilderness, which is well-marked. The road may require a high-clearance vehicle, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions.
