Car
From the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor Center, head east on Highway 24 for about 9 miles until you reach Hartnet Road. Turn right onto Hartnet Road. Continue on Hartnet Road for approximately 1 mile. You will see signs for Bentonite Hills, which is located along the road. There is limited parking available at the entrance to the hiking area.

Public Transportation & Walking
If you are using public transportation, take the local shuttle service (check the schedule for availability) from the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor Center towards the nearby towns. Once you reach the nearest stop, you may need to walk approximately 1 to 2 miles along Highway 24 to reach Hartnet Road. From there, follow Hartnet Road as described above to reach Bentonite Hills. Be sure to check for any shuttle service costs, as they may vary.
