If you're starting from the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor Center, head east on UT-24 for about 3 miles. Look for the Chimney Rock trailhead sign on the right side of the road. Turn onto the dirt access road and continue until you reach the parking area for the Chimney Rock trailhead. Parking is free, but be aware that the road may be unpaved, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain.
