Car
From the main roads in Dixie National Forest, head towards Duck Creek Village. If you're starting from the Cedar Breaks National Monument area, take UT-143 S until you reach Duck Creek Village. Once you arrive in Duck Creek Village, look for signs indicating Bowers Caves. The caves are located approximately 4 miles east of Duck Creek Village. You will need to take a dirt road leading to the caves, which can be accessed from the main road. Please be aware that the dirt road may require a high-clearance vehicle, especially after rain.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in this remote area. If you are using a shuttle service or public transport, the nearest bus stop is in Cedar City. From Cedar City, consider arranging a taxi or rideshare service to Duck Creek Village. Once in Duck Creek Village, you will need to rent a car or arrange a local guide who can take you to the caves, as public transport doesn't reach the caves directly.
Hiking
If you are already in the vicinity and prefer hiking, you can park your vehicle at a designated parking area in Duck Creek Village and embark on a hiking trail leading towards Bowers Caves. Keep in mind that this route may take a few hours depending on your pace and the trail conditions. Make sure to carry plenty of water and snacks, as well as a map or GPS device to navigate the trails.
