Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Dixie, head southeast on Main St toward E 100 S. Continue straight onto S 300 E/Main St, then take a left onto W 100 S. Follow this road as it turns into E 300 S and continue until you reach I-15 N. Merge onto I-15 N and continue for approximately 2 miles. Take exit 8 for UT-9 toward Hurricane/St. George. Continue on UT-9 W for about 14 miles until you reach Red Hills Pkwy. Turn left onto Red Hills Pkwy, and the Dixie Sugarloaf will be on your right in approximately 1 mile. Look for parking areas nearby to safely leave your vehicle.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take the St. George Shuttle. Board the shuttle at any of the designated stops in Dixie. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule for departure times. The shuttle will take you to downtown St. George. From there, you will need to catch a local taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach the Dixie Sugarloaf, which is about 5 miles away. Expect to pay a fare of approximately $10-$15 for the taxi or rideshare service.

• Biking

  For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike in Dixie and ride to The Dixie Sugarloaf. Start from Main St and head towards Red Hills Pkwy. Follow the directions for cars, but be cautious of traffic. The bike ride is approximately 7 miles and should take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations for a safe journey.
