Take a left onto E 200 N and walk for another 0.2 miles. You will find a small trail leading towards the Duchesne River. Follow this trail that will take you along the riverbank. After about 0.3 miles along the river, you will see access points that lead towards the Duchesne River Tunnel Influent area. Ensure to stay near the river for the best access.
Biking
Rent a bike from a local shop in Duchesne and start your ride heading north on UT-87 N/Main Street. After approximately 0.7 miles, turn left onto E 200 N. Continue for 0.3 miles until you reach the trailhead leading down to the river. Follow the designated bike paths along the river for about 1 mile; this will lead you directly to the Duchesne River Tunnel Influent area. Be cautious of any signs indicating restricted access.
Hiking
From the Duchesne City Park, head east towards the river. Follow the trail signs indicating access to the Duchesne River. This hike is approximately 1 mile long. The trail will wind through some natural areas, offering scenic views. After reaching the riverbank, continue downstream for about another half mile to reach the Duchesne River Tunnel Influent. It's a beautiful hike, so enjoy the nature surrounding you.
