Walking
Start from the center of Escalante at the Escalante Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, head southeast on UT-12 E. Walk along the shoulder of the road, as there are no sidewalks. Continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach the junction with the road leading to Bryce Canyon National Park. Look for signs indicating the direction to Bryce Canyon City. Follow the signs to the Bryce Canyon entrance.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local shop in Escalante. Start at the Escalante Visitor Center and head southeast on UT-12 E as you would if walking. Continue for roughly 2 miles until you reach the junction for Bryce Canyon National Park. Follow the signs directing you to Bryce Canyon City. This route is mostly flat and allows for a scenic ride.
