From the center of Escalante, head north on Main Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 12. Cross the highway carefully at the designated crosswalk. After crossing, turn left onto Highway 12 and follow the sidewalk. You will see signs for the Mossy Cave Trailhead. Continue on this path for about 1 mile until you reach the Mossy Cave Trail parking area. The trailhead is located just off the road, and you will see a sign marking the entrance to the Mossy Cave Trail.

Continue for approximately 2 miles until you see the signs for Mossy Cave Trail on your right. There is a designated bike rack at the trailhead where you can park your bike.
